Nauticstar bimini top becomes Navishade bimini top

Bimini tops from Nauticstar, a well-known brand of aluminum bimini tops, have established themselves well in the water sports market, and not without reason. They have produced affordable and beautiful bimini tops for many years. In 2019, Nauticstar was acquired by Navishade. Since then, the models have been refined over time and the quality of the cloth has improved. Offering a 5-year warranty on the cloth is no small feat.

The choice consists of 3-arch and 4-arch versions, the difference being in the length, namely 183 cm and 244 cm.

The 3-arch version is available in 3 heights: 91 cm, 117 cm and 137 cm.

  • The 91 cm variant is often chosen for sloops, fishing boats, speedboats and boats with a lower gunwale, especially where there is a lot of sitting and a lower top is desired.
  • The 117 cm version is more often seen on console boats, sloops and pleasure boats where more walking is done and height is important.
  • The 137 cm is the highest version and offers a lot of freedom of movement. If you are often on the boat, a lower height is recommended, as the rule of thumb is: the lower the top, the more shade.

The 4-arch aluminium version is only available in a height of 137 cm and is extremely suitable for cruisers, motorboats and boats with a lower gunwale. Of course, a 4-arch version is also suitable if you want a long hood and really need the height.

In short, the acquisition of Nauticstar bimini tops by Navishade is an added value for the customer, given the improvements in quality and the variety of models now offered.
