Innovative Wireless Man Overboard System for Boat Safety
The Wireless Man Overboard System provides additional safety for boats. The basic kit consists of an xHUB, easily mounted at the boat console, and a portable xFOB, which can be worn on a life jacket or wrist (wrist strap sold separately).
The xFOB communicates wirelessly with the xHUB when submerged in water or out of range of the xHUB. Up to 4 xFOBs can be connected to the xHUB. One acts as a captain's power outlet and the other three as crew alarm units. The xFOB has a battery life of 300 hours.
The xHUB can be linked to the engine stopper system and is compatible with major brands of outboard motors and most Sterndrive engines. Complies with ABYC A-33, E11, CE & FCC standards.
The wireless system uses WiMEA (Wireless Marine Electronics Algorithm), an advanced marine security protocol. The basic kit includes 1 xHUB (flush-mounted module), 1 xFOB (MOB tag), 1 cable, waterproof connectors and a manual.
