This Talamex French Anchor, also known as the French anchor, is a robust ship anchor that is available in different weights. The anchor is provided with a corrosion-resistant thermal galvanizing treatment, which ensures a long lifespan. Thanks to the special shape and sharp flutes, this anchor can anchor itself excellently in all kinds of soils.
- The French Anchor is made from high quality drawn steel and is welded for maximum durability. When selecting the right anchor, not only the length of the vessel but also the prevailing water conditions should be taken into account. In heavier seawater situations it is advisable to use a heavier anchor for a secure anchoring. Material: The anchor is made from drawn steel and is hot dip galvanized. This gives the anchor excellent corrosion resistance, which is important for long term use in saltwater environments.
