The Hertz designers have provided the subwoofer with a large voice coil excursion. The woofer has a voice coil of 50 mm length, and thanks to the powerful magnet, which is longer than that of the speakers, it is moved forward and back, resulting in a powerful bass. The Hertz subwoofers can be installed in spacious environments. For lovers of extremely heavy bass, Hertz has recommendations for a closed room in the manual. The subwoofer takes over the hard work of speakers to reproduce low tones. By adding extra bass with a kick to the audio system, performance is maximized.

To function optimally even at high sound pressure, the Hertz design department has created the most ideal design via FEM computer calculations. Each part has been thoroughly checked for weakness and strength. Designed and tested for extreme marine conditions including UV, salt fog, vibration, water spray, thermal shock and dust.

The connection from the woofer to the voice coil is made of strong and flexible aramid fibers, and the silicone insulated wiring ensures durability and consistent performance for many years. The gold-plated, corrosion-resistant terminals with silicone cap protect the connection point of the connecting cables.
