To determine which system is best suited for you, two things are important: the number of horsepower of the outboard motor and the direction of rotation of the propeller(s). If you have two engines that have the same direction of rotation, you can add the horsepower together (for example, two 115 hp engines with the same direction of rotation give a total of 230 hp). If you have two motors that rotate in opposite directions, you take 20% of the horsepower of one motor and add it to the horsepower of the other motor (for example, two 115 hp motors with opposite rotational directions). , then you first take 20% of 115 - that is 23 - and add 115 hp. That is a total of 138 hp). Based on the horsepower, you can select the operating system.
