The light features an unmatched ergonomic design. It is designed to be retracted by pressing the top section when not in use and reactivated by pressing the top section again. The design allows for freedom of movement on deck without the risk of tripping over the light. It features a built-in switch that only turns the light on when extended and turns it off when retracted, making it ideal for bow installation. The navigation light is easy to install, comes pre-assembled and has a waterproof deck seal.
Housing material - nylon with a lens made of acrylic glass (PMMA). All materials are resistant to ultraviolet radiation. In the light, a 12 V / 5 W bulb is used, which provides 5 candles of light with a minimum visibility of 2 nautical miles. All electrical contacts are made of stainless steel.
Nylon is a versatile group of thermoplastic polymers based on polyamides. It is a flexible, strong plastic with less strength and stiffness than PLA plastic and ABS copolymer.
